My canvases are large circular oil paintings ranging from 4 to 7 feet in diameter.

 

I use my finger to apply the first layers of paint, and paintbrushes for further details. I play with light using the ancient technique called " glacis". It consists in applying several transluscent layers of paint on top of one another. This techniques allows me to bring depth into my painting using bold and vivid colors.
